Help provide the gift of music to a deserving student

Many individual and corporate donors, through generous contributions, are making a difference in the daily lives of Community School of the Arts (CSA) students by making healthy, wholesome, and creative opportunities in the arts available to those who might not otherwise be able to afford them. Since 2004, CSA's Annual Campaign has funded a scholarship program, providing financial assistance for those CSA students who are both needy and deserving. Over 75 donors contributed $50,331 to the CSA 2011-12 Annual Campaign, granting need based scholarships for 65 students.

Scholarship recipients are carefully screened

CSA executes a rigorous application process for scholarship funds and has developed a system to track each scholarship student’s progress. This system is comprised of teacher evaluations and daily practice records, with the goal of encouraging discipline and accountability on the part of each scholarship student, thereby promoting optimal results and cultivating character development.
