VOCAL MUsic

Experience the joy of singing

Community School of the Arts' (CSA) graded choral program provides students with the opportunity to develop aural, rhythmic, sight-reading, and performance skills, while having a good time with friends! In addition to providing the perfect entry to a music education, a choral experience stimulates enthusiasm, teamwork and artistic expression.

CHOIR:

$120/15 weeks

A perfect entry to music education, CSA’s graded choirs stimulate artistic expression and teamwork. Students perform in December and May concerts.

Jr. Choir (k–gr 2)

SAT 10–10:40 am | Pierce 104 | Kelly

Sr. Choir (gr 3–6)

SAT 10:45–11:25 am | Pierce 104 | Kelly

Early levels of choir focus on vocal readiness, clarity of tone, correct posture, and breathing, while advanced students progress into areas of vocal range expansion, musical interpretation, and ensemble training. All three choirs join together for combined Christmas and Spring Concerts open to the public, featuring classical, sacred, folk, and light contemporary repertoire.
