Friday, May 11 — Suzuki Concerto Concert
Pierce Chapel, 7:15 PM
Advanced CSA students perform concertos on violin, viola, cello and piano at this wonderful concert. Come and be inspired! (FREE)

Friday, May 18 — Choirs, Handbells & Musical Theater Spring Concert
Pierce Chapel, 7 PM
CSA choir and handbell students perform pieces from their repertoire in this annual event, and musical theater students take to the stage for another snappy performance! (FREE)

 

Saturday, May 19 — Suzuki Ensembles Concert
Pierce Chapel, 11:15 AM
Advanced violin, viola, and cello students in the Suzuki strings program join together to perform in trios and quartets in this informal concert. (FREE)

 

Saturday, May 19 — Chamber Program Ensembles Concert
Pierce Chapel, 12:30 PM
String students in CSA's chamber program perform the pieces that they have been working on with their quartets, trios, etc. this past semester. (FREE)

Sunday, May 20 — Prep All-Program Festival
Edman Chapel, Pierce Chapel, McAlister, 1 PM, 2:15 PM, 3:30 PM
Students taking traditional-style lessons at CSA perform at recitals that include violin, cello, piano, voice, flute and clarinet performances. (FREE)

PAST EVENTS

Sunday, November 6
— CSA Arts Fest - Westward, Ho!
Pierce Chapel, 2:30 PM
Bring the whole family to this FREE family-friendly event highlighting the talents of our faculty. Westward, Ho! offers an afternoon of wild west-themed music and art! Activities will feature an instrument petting zoo, short concert, art project, line dancing, and the opportunity to talk directly with CSA teachers. An ideal musical experience for the entire family! (FREE)

Saturday, December 10 — Suzuki Strings Christmas Concert & Art Exhibit
Edman Chapel, 10 AM
CSA string students from age 4 through high school will perform Christmas favorites at this popular FREE concert that is perfect for the whole family. Visual Art students will display their work in the lobby. (FREE)

Saturday, December 17 — Choirs, Handbells & Musical Theater Christmas Concert
Pierce Chapel, 12:30 PM
CSA choir and handbell students will perform seasonal numbers, and the musical theater classes will showcase their singing and choreography. (FREE)

Saturday, January 21 — Chamber Program Ensembles Concert

String students in CSA's chamber program perform the pieces that they have been working on with their quartets, trios, etc. this past semester. (FREE)

Friday/Saturday, February 10, 11 — CSA Music-a-thon
Pierce Chapel, Pierce 104, Friday from 4:30-6 pm & Saturday from 9 am-2 pm
CSA students perform on Friday night and Saturday morning to raise money for a different cause each year. Join us in Pierce to hear the students play and enjoy goods from the student bake sale. All proceeds will benefit CRASH Japan's Operation SAFE program, which uses the arts to help children deal with traumatic situations - specifically, the devastating earthquake of March 2011.

Sunday, February 12
— Suzuki All-Program Piano Festival
Pierce Chapel at 1:15, 2:45, and 4:15 pm
Piano students in CSA's Suzuki Program present a variety of polished pieces at this group of nine recitals in one afternoon. (FREE)

Sunday, February 26 — Preparatory Honors/Scholarship Recital
Pierce Chapel, 3:15 PM
Winners of CSA's Preparatory Scholarship competition will perform, along with students being recognized for other achievements at this free concert. (FREE)

Saturday, March 17 — Suzuki String Senior Festival
Pierce Chapel, 10 AM
Experienced CSA Suzuki string students perform a variety of works from the Suzuki repertoire and other well-known concertos. (FREE)

Monday, March 19-Saturday, March 24 — Silent Auction

Join us online for our annual Silent Auction! 100% of proceeds benefit CSA's Scholarship Fund, which is providing music and art scholarships to over 60 financially needy students this year. Check back here for more auction details in the spring!
